Elina can be customized at the district, school, and group level. This article walks through what can be set at each level and how the layers work together.
District level
Districts can set shared values, default languages, and a common pedagogical frame that all schools start from.
School level
Schools can layer their own themes, recommended plans, and printable templates on top of the district defaults.
Group level
Educators always have the final word inside their own group. Group profiles override school defaults wherever they apply.
Tip
Start light. Set only one or two defaults at the district and school levels in your first term — it makes the system easier for educators to understand.
